How Intel Strengthens System Health

For companies built on private or hybrid clouds, availability is a top priority in their data center operations. And that requires a proactive approach, since debugging a processor corruption can take months. Enter: the Intel® Data Center Diagnostic Tool, which can spot a faulty CPU in under an hour.

It’s Time for Data Centers to Reduce Power Consumption by Improving Utilization

Did you know that data centers consume nearly one percent of global electricity demand, a number that’s rising steadily? Intel software application engineer Eric Xie offers tips to improve data center utilization—for the sake of the corporate balance sheet and, more importantly, the sake of the planet.

Cisco UCS X-Series Achieves 35 Million IOPS Performance in a Single Chassis

Cisco engineers have hit a raw storage and data performance milestone by sustaining an aggregate of at least 35 million input/output operations per second (IOPS) in support of growing enterprise workloads. The test was conducted using a Cisco UCS X-Series compute node equipped with six Intel NVMe SSDs generating 4.7 million IOPS per node.

Intel, Decentriq, and Swiss Re Improve Data Privacy

With technology built on Intel® SGX, Decentriq provides security by encrypting applications and data everywhere—at rest, in motion, and in use. This allows leading global reinsurance provider Swiss Re to harness confidential computing technologies to better protect critical data and gain actionable insights.
